Managed Account privacy disclosure

Effective date: 19 March 2025

Your organisation has issued you with a Meta account ("Managed Account"), to authorise and manage your access to certain Meta and third-party applications, products and services. If you are the administrator of your own Managed Account, you will be treated as an organisation for the purposes of this privacy disclosure. For clarity, this privacy disclosure does not apply to products subject to the Meta Horizon Managed Solutions Terms of Service at https://forwork.meta.com/legal/mfw-terms-of-service/ (or a successor location).

While we receive limited information about you and your activity in connection with your Managed Account (as described below under “I. What kind of information is collected?"), we process this information in accordance with the terms of our agreement with your organisation and your organisation's lawful instructions. Your organisation is responsible for your Managed Account and its administration and may have additional policies or codes of conduct that apply to your use of your Managed Account. We are not responsible for and have no control over your organisation's privacy or security practices. Please contact your organisation with questions or requests regarding your Managed Account, the processing of your personal information and any privacy choices or controls that you may have.

We have set out further information below including the types of information collected and shared with us by your organisation, and how this may be used:

I. What kind of information is collected?

• your employee contact information, such as full name and work email address;
• your date of birth;
• your username and password;
• your work title, department information and other information related to your work or organisation;
• the content, communications and other information that you provide when you use your Managed Account, including when you sign up for an account;
• billing and payment information regarding products or services purchased by your organisation; and
• information that you provide when you or your organisation contact or engage our support team regarding your Managed Account.

II. How does your organisation and Meta use your information?

Your organisation will share the information that it collects with Meta, as provider of your Managed Account, in order to allow Meta to provide and support your Managed Account for your organisation and in accordance with any other instructions from your organisation. Examples of Meta's use include:

• communicating with you and your administrator regarding your use of Managed Accounts;
• enhancing the security of your Managed Account for your organisation;
• personalising your and your organisation's experiences as part of our provision of your Managed Account;
• developing new tools, products or services related to your Managed Account for your organisation;
• identifying and fixing bugs that may be present; and
• conducting data and system analytics, including research to improve your Managed Account.

III. Disclosure of information

Your organisation may disclose the information collected in the following ways:

• to third-party apps, websites or other services that you can connect to through your Managed Account;
• in connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as the transfer of your Managed Account, a merger, consolidation, asset sale or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy or insolvency;
• to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; and
• in connection with a subpoena, warrant, discovery order or other request or order from a law enforcement agency.

IV. Use of third-party applications, products and services

Your use of your Managed Account to access any Meta and third-party applications, products and services is subject to the relevant terms and privacy policies that govern the use of those applications, products and services. V. Information we may share with your organisation

We may share with your organization certain information about your Managed Account, to promote safety, integrity and security; to comply with applicable laws and regulations; and in accordance with Meta's terms and policies, including the applicable acceptable use policy. This may include information such as the status of your Managed Account. Please review your organisation's policies or contact your organisation's administrator to learn more about the information shared with your organisation and the settings and access controls established by your organisation.

VI. Accessing and modifying your information

You and your organisation may access, correct or delete information that you have uploaded your Managed Account using the tools provided by Meta. If you are not able to do so using the tools provided, you should contact your organisation directly to access or modify your information.

VII. Account closure

If you would like to stop using your Managed Account, you should contact your organisation. Similarly, if you stop working for or with the organisation, the organisation may suspend your Managed Account and/or delete any information associated with your Managed Account.

VIII. Changes to this Managed Account Privacy Disclosure

This Managed Account Privacy Disclosure may be updated from time to time. When updated, the "Effective date" above will be amended and the new Managed Account Privacy Disclosure will be posted online.
